Artisan Easter dove cake “Colomba” with hazelnut cream 1 kg
Scoiattolo Rosso in collaboration with the Penatteria Antichi Sapori di Carru’ ,offers its customers artisanal Easter dove cake with Piedmont hazelnuts i.g.p.
It is an artisanal easter dove produced starting from a pre-dough (biga) which acts as a mother yeast and matures for approximately 15/20 hours.
The next day, after the first leavening, we knead again, adding the Piedmont I.G.P. hazelnut paste.
Before returning to the leavening cell for 2 hours at constant temperature and humidity.
Then we move on to the sizing and pirling phase: one by one, by hand, we give the compounds the right shape for placing in the molds.
Let’s leaven again for another 5 hours, before going into the oven. We proceed with the icing, bake and once cooked our panettone are turned upside down for about 8 hours, to prevent the hot and heavy dough from dismantling the dome.
When they have cooled we package them by hand, with the same care with which we produce them. And so, they are ready to reach you and whoever you want to dedicate a kind thought to.
How to store artisan easter dove cake
It is a fresh product processed a few days before being put on sale. This means a shorter shelf life, of around 3 months, but also a more genuine and natural dessert, without chemical preservatives.
To preserve its fragrance, close it well in its sweetness bag inside the package.
Keep it away from light, heat and gluttons. Once opened it is advisable to consume it within 4 days, but we believe it will end sooner!
Ingredients:
For the dough: wheat flour, water, butter, sugar, egg yolks, Piedmont PGI hazelnut paste, natural yeast, flavourings.
For the filling: hazelnut cream.
For the icing: white chocolate, PGI hazelnut paste, chopped hazelnuts.
Contains gluten, wheat, nuts, lactose and derivatives, eggs.
