Piedmont P.G.I. hazelnuts flour produced with 100% shelled, roasted and finely ground hazelnuts, with no added ingredients.
In accordance with our philosophy of sustainability, we obtain it with hazelnuts that are broken during processing or that have not completely lost their skin during roasting. Hazelnuts not suitable for sale as whole, but not for this reason of inferior quality.
What to do with hazelnut flour?
You can use it for the preparation of the classic hazelnut cake, for delicious baci di dama or biscuits in general (ps: on the Scoiattolo Rosso blog you will find some recipes to make at home, in no time!). However, we have an advice that you really don’t expect and that we too discovered almost by accident. Try a dusting of hazelnut flour on grilled peppers.
